"Carl's is a standout, among the major chains. It's a pity that they have no presence in the Northeast, my original stomping grounds. However, their omnipresence, in California, has been truly appreciated, over my almost forty years, here. The double western is a right sized meal, for a hungry man, and the waffle fries are such a welcomed change, from the typical shoestrings which too quickly disappear, leaving me wanting. The whole meal was tasty and adequately filling. I can expect no more. Very good, indeed!"
