"So delicious! We haven't ordered from here in a while and their menu looks to have grown. The spinach and feta filo is easily twice the size of the picture (massive!) and it was delicious. Better than some spanokopita I've ordered from greek restaurants in the past! Couldn't finish it because it was so big, so I haven't tried all of the things we ordered yet. Even though it was too sweet for my personal tastes, it was well-made (smooth and creamy, nice presentation with the caramel drizzle in the cup, and it was filled up to the top as well). "This place lost a devoted customer today. I've ordered this exact same dish 10+ times and I was so shocked by the quality today that I literally called the restaurant out of concern. The Blackstone Benny itself was disappointing - soggy english muffin, flavourless mealy tomato, undercooked congealed bacon, and a VERY small egg on both.
The worst part was definitely the Colcannon, though. I was genuinely taken aback - it was claggy, starchy, crumbly, unseasoned. Had the consistency of poorly mixed pie crust dough that had been to dry out on the counter. I was certain it was at least a day or more old and had been microwaved, but I spoke to the kitchen manager Sara(h) who swore up and down she made it this morning, which is maybe even more concerning to be honest...?? She was also very defensive and snippy with me when I expressed my concerns.
