The grits had okay flavor but were so greasy I couldn’t finish them. The bacon was hard, partially burnt, and didn’t taste fresh. The biscuits were soft but completely bland—no butter, no flavor.
Suggestion: Pack the shrimp separately so the oil doesn’t ruin the grits. Lighten up on bacon cook time (it keeps cooking in the bag), and add something to the biscuits—anything.
Overall, not worth the hype. Really hoping for better next time."
