Milanoes's was SO great when they were a lil place on Brown St in Dayton in the 80's! They used ovens, didnt microwave and all of us college kids LIVED and waited in long lines for their food. The italion beef was what they WERE known for and WE gave up on that item, years ago, once they started nuking it and beef tasted old consistenty and NOW, we are done with our Nostalgic Milanoe's. Once they expanded, everything in their menu has went down in quality and ridiculously priced. Try Submarine house is MY best reccomendation at this point. Another fave from college days!

"I've been in Dayton for 50 years, and all that time I only went to one cheesesteak place. I tried Charley's last week and the Bacon 3 Cheessteak grabbed my attention and made me return this week. I think is the best Bacon I've ever had, though the beef can stand on it's own. I also repeated on the Ultimate Fries. I couldn't resist. Now, before you think I'm either rich or trying to die from great food, I have to tell you I easily got 2-3 meals from each order.
