Okra stew wasnt spicy enough and was too small. Every other African spot serves it full enough that you have some left over. However, it still tasted good regardless of the lack of spice. It's unfortunate that they only give you one pounded yam ball as well but it fits the portion of the stew I guess.

"Unfortunately the ogbono has a soapy taste to it... at first you get the spices but immediately after it tastes like dishwashing liquid. If ogbono tastes like soap it's not fresh. The dish is still slightly edible but with a pretty nasty aftertaste. All the other spices in the dish are good. The Fish Roll (2) was not my favorite. The pastry outside was good but the inside wasn't what I was hoping for. The Amala (Yam Flour) came kind of mushy, I think it had just been made, but it didn't gave the typical flavor of Amala (Yam Flour) swallow. The dish itself is quite small compared to other African restaurants with the same dish. Seeing as how that is a common complaint here, you'd think that they would have tried to do something to improve it which is why I ordered here again after some time. It's the only African place nearby so if they gave more generous portions I would have ordered here a lot more frequently. They didn't have the Palm Drink (Emu) that I ordered and replaced it with a bitter lemon drink even though I asked for maltas... it's interesting for sure but not my preference. The stewed turkey in the dish is a lot of bone but it's at least cooked pretty decently even though it's such a tiny portion. Wish I could order here more but I don't really trust it. "
