"While looking for ramen, I read a review for one of my go to ramen spots and the person suggested Totoyama ramen for better flavor and value. So decided to give it a try, hoping to have found another spot to add to my go to. Sadly, both my partner and myself were highly dissapointed.
The portions were small, hardly enough broth for just the one bowl, let alone for the extra noodles I ordered. The noodles that came with the bowl had thin white noodles, as oppose to the egg noodles that I got on the side, which we prefer. The bowl comes with green and fried onions, which I asked for them to be on the side, but did not get at all.
Ordered the Vocano Roll and at first glance it did not look enticing, I tasted it and sadly it lacked flavor. It was suppose to have spicy tuna on top and yet I did not taste any hint of wasabi or the sweetness from the eel sauce. I had to encourage my partner to try it. She seperated a piece and saw this dark mushy substanence that she poked at and said, “what is that…. nope, not eating that”. I presume it was avocado but really, something as common as advocado should not have be questionable."
