I was hesitant at first because some other places deep fry them to the point of hockey pucks but these were done perfectly. The Carrot Cake was also unexpected. It's a cheesecake combo, very decadent and not at all what I was expecting from a late night diner. We WILL be back!!"

"Ordered the Cookie Monster ice cream and was pretty disappointed. It’s an eye-searing, artificial shade of blue with barely any actual Oreo mixed through — just a few sparse crumbs. The cookie dough pieces weren’t distributed at all; they were all clumped at the bottom of the cup instead of mixed in. There was also a strange aftertaste that made it hard to finish. Texture and flavor both felt like an afterthought compared to the color.
I only came here because it’s one of the few places open late — but Sundaes Homemade does a genuinely great Cookie Monster ice cream that this doesn’t come close to. Paying $14 for something that tastes this artificial isn’t worth it. Won’t be returning."

"This is simply not worth the price. The Bandeja Parcera / Parcera Tray comes with a slab of beef which is well seasoned and a MATTRESS of rice. Everything else is either subpar or completely unacceptable. Starting with the god awful pork rinds. They were like chewing rubber that was encased in cement. No flavor due to the old staleness of them. Everything else was simple to the platter except for the bowl of beans. "I had the Mix & Mix & Match with beef ribs, collards, fried fish, potato salad & sweet potatoes. The ribs were beyond tender, they fell right off the bone and were seasoned just right. The fried fish was equally as good. The sweet potatoes had too much cinnamon for my taste, buts thats just me. The potato salad was good, but some of the potatoes were a tad crunchy, but it tasted great nonetheless.
