I will say that on a few orders the strawberry has been the size of a grape, and for better customer satisfaction, small strawberries like that should never be used;
Because psychologically the strawberry represents Zupas appreciation for the customer. And if a customer gets a tiny chocolate strawberry, they most likely will skip Zupas for someone else the next time they order; then try Zupas again after that. The strawberry is Zupas signature on the meal, and a small strawberry also shows a lack of confidence. It sounds crazy, but I've been in advertising for almost two decades and studies phycology; advertising and psychology go hand in hand. It'd be interesting to do a study and ask customers about this.
ALSO, I say this about the strawberry, because the chocolate covered strawberry at Zupas is incredible!! One order before this today, the strawberry was TINY. But today's order had a perfect one; the taste of the chocolate is just amazing!
