"I ordered the Beef Combo 1.6 lb meal and was disappointed with the portion and overall quality. The amount of beef provided was very small compared to what is expected for a 1.6 lb combo. Most of the container was broth, with only a few thin slices of meat and limited solid ingredients.
For the price, the portion size did not feel reasonable. The broth was also quite oily, which affected the overall taste and balance of the dish. The meal did not match my expectations based on the menu description.

The 옛날전통육개장 Original Yukgaejang with Glass Noodle is flavorful and hits the spot. A few things to note:
The glass noodles are delivered on the side uncooked. Easiest thing to do is boil water > cook the noodles separately for 5 min > drain completely > add to a large bowl > pour soup over the top.
The other thing is the soup container might look small in comparison to the portion you get at the restaurant. It's deceptive. It is a very deep container and there's a lot of soup. I use a medium sized mixing bowl as the eating vessel for both the noodles and soup.
I do wish they included more variety of side dishes (the two times I've ordered I've gotten a small container of kimchi and a small container of fish cake and nothing else).
Still, everything tastes good and I'd order from here again."

But worst, the sides were made as if a non-Korean who has no idea how the banchan (sides) are supposed to taste...threw together massive amounts and chopped really small. Oh and that was because the sides also come in smaller packaging. And I paid $5 each for two more sets of banchan. Other than the small but tasty tofu soup everything else was a total waste of money.
