"Let's start with the One Dozen bagels (Except Specialty bagels). They are a reasonable size and are well-coated with toppings on one side. Those toppings taste good. However, they are fairly bready (a step up from mass-market store bagels). That's depressing. When I go to a bagel shop, I want a real bagel with a bubbly crisp exterior with a slightly dense and flavorful interior. The entire bagel is light and almost fluffy.
As for the Egg Whites and Cheese Sandwich, I found it to be tasty, though I recommend asking for a flavored bagel, because that would improve the flavor and distract from the very soft plain bagels.
The Bagel basket Special Hot Sandwich wasn't very special. It was just a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. There was no sauce of any kind. Nothing different or unusual at all. The bacon was well-cooked and the scrambled egg was tasty. The name should be changed, though, if my sandwich was the norm for this item. Just call it a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich.
The flavored 5. Scallion Cream Cheese is good and looks locally made. The amount of scallions were decent.
All-in-all, the prices are typical for this area and the sandwiches were ok, but if you want real bagels, cooked propery, you might want to consider a different shop."

"The only thing I was a little disappointed about was some of the food was a little spicier than I expected, which is not typical for Guatemalan food. Normally the spice is left on the side. Honestly it probably isn't a problem for most people. I just can't tolerate it at all. But everything was really delicious, the people were amazing there (I think they only speak Spanish). They ran out of something and called me to lmk. Fortunately I speak Spanish but they were amazing about accommodating me. The cauliflower dish, coliflor forrada is always my favorite dish. I make it at home as well because to me it is the best way to make cauliflower! It is fried up in an egg batter and delicious! If you like cauliflower, try it! You will not be disappointed.
