"The calzones are getting more expensive and have less ingredients. We did try the Loaded Queso Dip this time, which seems like an odd appetizer for a pizza joint, but I thought it was delicious! I don't "do spicy" or green peppers, but I really loved this dip on the crostinis.
The reason for my 4-star review is for the size of the Build Your Own Calzones and the ungodly price, plus we were supposed to get a marinara with each one plus I ordered Red Sauce & Beer Cheese Sides for $5, and we were missing a red sauce. For this price I want everything I ordered, including jam-packed calzones instead of lots of doughy bread.
This probably should have been a 3-star review, but we do like Mellow Mushroom better than other pizza places around, and the quality is excellent.
