They increased the amount of cabbage under the meat (also nice), but not if that means less meat for the same price. I always get the Half & Half Plate with the Beef Short Ribs & Katsu, rice with cabbage, and Macaroni Salad. I always have leftovers too, which is ideal for me. The short ribs are genuinely the best way I have ever had beef prepared. The katsu is always perfectly cooked. The sauce is to die for. I have dreams of the macaroni salad (I'm not even kidding, I have had L&L macaroni salad dreams)

"I don't usually write reviews but this was just bad. The Chicken Katsu had zero flavor. The only thing that gave it flavor was the Katsu sauce, and when that ran out (they didn't give even close to enough) it was just really rough and tasteless chicken that was not enjoyable to try to finish eating, felt like I had to force it down just to finish it. The Kalua Pork with Cabbage tasted very over salted, and was missing any kind of sauce. the BBQ Chicken had two small pieces of chicken on it, about one inch long and was otherwise just 95+% large soggy clump of rice. Pretty expensive clump of disappointment. "
