"Cardona’s never disappoints! I’ve had their pastas, meatballs, subs, baked goods, and even used them to cater my baby shower and honestly, it was the best catering I’ve ever had at an event. "First time experience and definitely the last. The macaroni was bland. I say macaroni because the cheese was pretty much non existent. The only flavor in the dish came from the ridiculous amount of panko with herbs that were just placed on top; not even baked. The burger with chili cheese fries was a fail as well. The chili spillover did contribute to the flavor of the burger. The burger itself lacked seasoning and flavor. In the end, over half of the burger and all except 2 bites of the macaroni was thrown out. I had others taste them as well without telling them and they stated the same; the food was not good. Honestly one of the most disappointing meals I've had in a long time. The gyro was dripping with grease to the point where the bottom of the container was covered in oil. The fries were soggy and tasted like they had been sitting around for hours. Everything felt heavy, greasy, and poorly prepared.
The portions may be large, but what's the point if the quality isn't there? I'd rather have half the amount of food and have it taste fresh. The salad looked tired, the pita was dry, and the sauces didn't add much flavor.
