Master Chef is not as good as the ones in SoCal (those places like Tops Burger in Pasadena or Louis Burgers IV in Torrance are competing with In-n-Out on burgers, all the Mexican restaurants on burritos, etc. so they have to be really good), but Master Chef is quite decent (especially for the price and hours it is open), and fills this super necessary market for late night grub. "We ordered two orders of Thai Chicken Lettuce wraps, which have always been one of our favorites, and had them delivered thru Door Dash. Used to be you'd get 5 or 6 decent size leaves of lettuce, and a good helping (maybe 1/3 cup) of the toppings that go in the wraps. To our disappointment, we got 4 or 5 of the smallest lettuce leaves I've ever seen, and each of the toppings were in cups the size of pill cups. What made it worse is that the red pepper wasn't crispy and fresh, but kind of slimy and chewy, there was less than a teaspoon of cilantro and about five small won ton strips, and none of the cups were covered with lids, so we basically had what few toppings we received all over the inside of the styrofoam containers. For $40, I would have expected a little more, especially since they used to be so good and filling. The icing on the cake - I paid for Express Delivery so I'd get my order within 30 minutes, and still ended up waiting over 45. A very disappointing $50 spent!"

"Broasted Chicken Mix (12pc) was burnt and cold when it arrived. The chicken was delivered in a "Gold n Plump Chicken" packaging so I am unsure if this was a pre bought and sold type of deal or if this was actually Village's recipe. Overall the chicken was overcooked, hard and some pieces were pretty toasty and butter. The batter on the Deep-Fried Mushroom were falling apart just by picking it up so you were able to eat the batter separately from the mushroom. The Chicken Finger (4pc) were thin but the fries were decent. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing dinner to feed the family who wanted to try broasted chicken. I would probably just stick to the pizza and keep it limited to ensure the food is delivered semi hot vs delivered cold."
