"Subway. I like it. They try to be consistent, bless their hearts, but it's got its ups and downs.
There's one store on Arlington Blvd. in western Falls Church (Graham Park Plaza) that I quit using, because they ALWAYS got something wrong with my order. It wasn't awful, usually something minor, but I just got annoyed with it.
My point is that some stores are better than others; some sandwich makers are better than others, even at a "good" store. But this one, in West Falls Church on Route 29 (Lee Hwy.) is pretty good, pretty consistent, pretty accurate. I don't think they've ever disappointed me.
I like Subway. it's my go-to for fresh and healthy subs. I typically only use their multigrain bread, a good-for-you choice that I don't remember seeing anywhere else. But there's a wide variety of breads to choose from. And they've got lots of veggies to choose from. You can get basically a small salad on top of a wide choice of proteins. And you can get a regular serving of protein, or 50% more, or double. You can get your sub hot or cold, toasted or plain, spicy or mild, with or without a choice of cheeses. And they've got a variety of sauces and dressings to top it off. And your sub, depending on your choices, can be as fatty or lean as you like. Even people not into eating meat can get the Veggie Patty, which I've had before, when I was in the mood, and it's good. I think most meat lovers would like it.
So I like Subway in general , and this store in particular."
"I understand they may have been slammed with lunch orders, so this is a very provisional 1-star rating. We do a group order for employees to order starting on Monday and then confirming on Tuesday at 10:30am. This order was extremely small for a group of 10, and 2 minutes after submitting the order they cancelled it and did not give an explanation. It was just boilerplate language apologizing, and some of it was DoorDash language I am guessing. It would be good to provide at least a sentence of explanation, like current high volume or system issues, instead of creating the work of a refund process with no good reason as to why. We went to Domino's down the street and they were able to finish a significant order to replace Subway's in time for us to get it to the staff for lunch."
