"The battered cocktail fish are beautiful they are almost the size of a large piece of fish , cooked beautifully, the small chips was enough for two adults and were nice and hot . I have now ordered a few times from it has to be the best tasting food and the best value for your money , you could easily feed a family and know that they are full for not very much which is great in these hard economic times ! đ Defenetly will be my only fish and chips I order from , Thank you Metford Fish and Chip shop you guys are amazing đ â€ïž"
"My initial order arrived incorrect, but I was pleased that the store promptly contacted DoorDash, and I was quickly reached by support to resolve the issue. The correct order was redelivered soon after. The large chips portion was generous, and all the chips, spring roll, and potato scallops were cooked perfectly. The Pluto pup was slightly overcooked but still enjoyable. I really appreciate the storeâs efforts to fix the mistake and ensure I was satisfied with my meal. Thank you for the good service!"

"Usually the food here is delicious but tonight was disappointing.
The food was oiled and salted to the extreme that the last part of my (normally fantastic) wrap was so salty it was inedible.
The Zucchini chips were salted to the degree I just couldn't finish them. Its sad as it all smelt great and was obviously good food that was spoiled by rubbing in an extreme overboard amount of salt and oil.
The oil was so bad the bottom of the paper bag was soaked in oil."

"11/10 would recommend. My partner has coeliacs and they have never poisoned him. Much to his delight they do a gluten free schnitty and it went down with much joy and excitement. Their food quality and serving size are consistent, their sauces are flavoursome and also GF. The chips are tasty... I love their chips. We have never been delivered cold or soggy food and I like the way it's packaged because I can flip it into the lid and flip straight on a plate and just cover that goodness in saucy yum yums. Our order is usually steak chips n salad w pepper sauce for him and a schnitty with chips, salad n creamy garlic for me. I have ordered from them an embarrassing amount of times. Thanks for cooking for me. "

"Compared to over 20 orders I've had, this was the most well made by far.
You can tell they've followed their build formula for the Burrito because it was the right size, no mess, and tightly wrapped and compact.
The veggies in the Quesadilla were actually cooked properly for once. A few times they undercook them maybe because they're in a rush but you notice these things in the taste. It was also toasted properly, not underdone.
They didn't miss any of the sides this time either which was great as it's happened a lot for me with the salsas.
Whoever worked tonight honestly should be making them every night because this is someone who cares about the quality of fast food and the customers who are eating it.
It still tasted amazing compared to all the other times and even though my food was a little cold from the delivery due to distance, it was still better than some of the other times I've had, even in store.
My favourite takeaway option is Mad Mex and I don't normally mind the quality as I usually enjoy it regardless but I had to go out of my way to comment on the quality tonight as it was different and better and it didn't go unnoticed. I hope this gets passed on to tonight's staff.
I've also left a review on google because they should know that."

"Hot Honey Chicken Slaw and Chips (4061 kJ) Very tasty and filling. Tender and crispy. my only complaint is that it wasn't wrapped in a material that stays hot as a bit like warm by the time it came and I think this meal is best fresh outta the pan. đ The chips were perfectly crispy."

"Brisket Burnt Ends (Large with Chips) were very tender and well cooked, could have used more sauce though."
"Unfortunately very disappointed. Ordered a meal with coleslaw chips and ribs. The coleslaw was just a box of dry cabbage sliced up with absolutely no seasoning clearly just straight out of a packet. The chips were unseasoned. Made the whole meal feel very underwhelming."

"Food is delicious! Store was very accommodating to special requests. Only issue I have is that the milkshakes are very small (taste fantastic though)."
"Butter Chicken was tasty, however the pizzas were small, ingredients used seemed like over processed packet bacon from coles - not fresh meat like you would expect from a "Gourmet range" and overpriced for what you get. Not what we have previously experienced from this place. "

"the first time I ordered this product it was great. the last 2 times the food is not up the par. the chicken is cooked probably with oil too hot, making it dry and unplatable. (not to mention the chicken so small ) the chips were same getting close to overcooked. drinks were icy cold. i suggest if want going to store and don't get delivered."

"Arrived in a timely manner with careful packaging. The Coconut Rice was exquisite, perfect consistency, creaminess and overall flavour. The Pancit Bihon was so full of flavour down to the carrots and beans, tied together with a spectacular sauce. The Chocolate crinkles were delicious and a perfect conclusion to a wonderful meal. The portions are also very generous, the pictures attached were taken after 2 hungry adults had already ate. If I could give 6 stars, I would! 11/10! "
"Siopao Pork buns dough was quite raw & very minimal filling, ate half of 1 & threw rest.
