I got The Beef South Street Cheesesteak and I was blown away. Piled high with thick, juicy, perfectly seasoned chopped beef, melted cheese all the way through, and their signature mayo-based sauce on a fresh-baked Ambrosia roll that is soft inside with just the right chew on the outside. It holds up to all that meat and cheese without falling apart. Absolute perfection.
You can tell they do it right — the meat is hot and juicy on the flat top, the cheese is fully melted in, the roll is toasted. And it’s HUGE. This will absolutely fill you up.
Service was fast and friendly even though they were slammed, and I love that they’re open late. That takeout kitchen at 119 Spring St Suite 2 is a lifesaver for downtown Charleston late-night cravings. I ordered ahead for curbside pickup and it was ready in minutes.

"This store always has amazingly flavored food. The Detroit Style (Square), the one pictured has ricotta cheese as an add on, and is fantastic. Forgive the picture it was missing a slice that was on my plate lol. I covered it with Garlic Parmesan and that was a great add. The B.Y.O. Calzone I chose had the "white caps" option and was fantastic as well once I cut into it and tried a bite. Both items were the perfect size and the ingredients were very fresh. Only thing that was a smidge disappointing was that it was luke-warm when I received it, BUT that wasn't anyone's fault just picked a bad time of day lol. The hand breaded Fried Mozzerella is beyond good. The 14 in. BYO Pizza with added fresh mozarella and any toppings is golden. Would order again as always.
