"this is my normal go-to for drinks. i add a double dash to most orders to get either a root beer or cherry vanilla coke because their syrup is always at a good ratio and their drinks are always crisp and delicious. however the last several weeks, every time i get a drink they all have smelled and tasted like hamburger grease. i can't figure out it it's in the cup, soda fountain or the ice. i've kept ordering in hopes it would be resolved, and i can understand how this could happen in the very small kitchen of a sonic restaurant with hundreds of hamburger patties cooked in a day. i cook ONE hamburger at home and my house smells like it the rest of the day. but unfortunately i've found this taste in my fountain drink very off-putting and won't be ordering from this location anymore, as the other sonic locations i've ordered drinks from recently have not had this problem. i tried calling the restaurant to make them aware of this issue and got a recording saying no one was available to speak to me, so if any employees are reading this please consider moving your cups or ice machine or whatever is causing this problem further away from your grill. I got the JAPANESE CURRY and it had really good flavor. I don't know if you get more if you sit in the resturant and eat or not but the portion was small . You had about 1 cup of rice scattered at the bottom of the container, about 2 ounces of sauce in a separate container and maybe cup of fried chicken. The sauce was completely absorbed by the rice and normally curries tend to be a little saucy. I really just think this place is way overpriced for what you get, from drinks to food.

"I guess they dont miss. The Caramel Frappe tastes like it has actual coffee in it, unlike a lot of other places. I got a bigger order today to get more of a variety and im impressed! Of the 25 Mini Donuts, the lemon had a very sweet and strong lemon drizzle that paired so well with the donut. The vanilla drizzle and sprinkles and chocolate sprinkles are both classic and simple. The turtle has chocolate and caramel drizzle that aren't too overpowering. My favorite is the chocolate chip pancake with maple drizzle, chocolate chips, and powdered sugar. Their maple flavor is outstanding!! My new go-to for donuts, desserts, or coffee!"

"The CHICKEN FRIED CHICKEN is one of the best you'll find from any restaurant! Charleston's cream gravy is absolutely divine and is not your typical white gravy. Ita actually slightly pinkish and the taste makes anything you put it on next level. The chicken itself was excellent and I love that they give you 2 medium size cuts instead of just one massive piece. This is easily a meal that you can split with another person or save half for leftovers. I got the mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese as sides and they both were great as well. The potatoes were more of the smashed variety, not really creamy but more of a large mound of tastiness with bits of peel included and the Mac n cheese was made with a rigatoni pasta and delicious cheese sauce. Top notch quality on everything! This is definitely a bit of a pricey meal but again, it's large enough to make 2 meals out of and the quality shows you where they put the extra cost.
