I worked at a Carl's Jr restaurant in Ventura in the early 1980s, and the food was excellent at that time, but the company was still owned by the Karcher family, so that would probably be one reason why the food was superior. These days the buns are rather tasteless, and tend to absorb the sauces and flatten out. The lettuce lacks texture, and is better suited for floral arrangements than hamburgers. Would have liked the portion to be about half more of the serving size. "Do not order here to-go (aka DoorDash)! This was the worst steak of my life. It was filled with inedible sinew and I threw it away after 2 bites (of extensive selective cutting no less).
Got the sirloin and ribs combo with a minuscule amount of salad - (who skimps on lettuce?) and a tiny baked potato. They put sour cream, butter and chives all together stuffed in a 3 oz container!
The steak was horrible, worst in my life that I've ever had. Cooking was correct - a medium, not overdone. I cannot blame the chefs and other staff members...However, this establishment skimps on portions plus quality of goods. I have a feeling their managers instructed them to skimp on everything too. They had the cheapest cut in the world. Please save yourself the regret.

Absolutely delicious! The Mole sauces are so different, but all very good. The Chilie Relleno and Carne Asada taco were also incredible, but becarful with those two as they are spicy. I love spicy, so they were great for me.
The desserts were out of this world! I've never had chocolate Tres Leches, but pretty sure I can not love without it now.

My husband and I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened in Santa Clarita, and our only complaint is the fried shrimp tacos. My husband wanted to order them, but they changed to beer-battered shrimp tacos, which are totally unoriginal, inauthentic, and tasteless. There are so many places to get beer-battered everything in Santa Clarita. We dined in, and this was given to my husband, and we didn't go back for a few months.
