Last time I ordered the Pretzel Sticks I got like 5 much smaller pretzels that I could buy at Walmart in the freezer section. Not the big, soft ones they used to sell or are currently advertised on delivery apps that were so much better. I thought maybe it was just a mistake last time, but it seems that's what is listed on their menu now, which is a shame. So I do feel like at least on DoorDash, it's a bit of a bait and switch. And they definitely aren't worth the money.
This time I also ordered the Apple Strudel which looks amazing in the picture. Mine was haphazardly tossed into a box. Bits of it tasted like garlic. Other bits of it had a sauerkraut flavor. The texture of pastry isn't flaky at all. It was like when you let an ice cream cone soak up the ice cream. Soggy and had an eggy quality. There wasn't any powdered sugar, but that could be because the filling that was flopped on top of it dissolved the sugar. The white chocolate sauce is also disgusting. Not actual white chocolate, more an artificially flavored white chocolate icing. I can eat about anything even if its not as good as I had hoped. I threw the whole thing away.
Overall disappointing. This isn't what I remember from less than a year ago when I was raving about this place and even chose it as my birthday dinner. Maybe it was two flukes... but it feels more like what happened with Melt. High priced, low quality food built on the back of a bait and switch. And we all know what happened to Melt. "

The not so good days are when the body of the crust is too thick and it barely has any cheese on it, delivered cold etc. But the days that taste the best are when the body of the crust is thin (like a NY style slice) and they put a nice amount of cheese on it, that not only has great flavor but when delivered hot, I take a bite, I have a string of cheese between my mouth and the slice that I have to grab and break apart and it's so melty and full of flavor I can't wait for the next bite. And then the outer piece of crust that is left is the perfect blend of harder on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. And even better when dipped in garlic sauce. Today's door dash order was the first order I received that also had Parmesan cheese and pepper flake packets in it which was a pleasant and very yummy surprise. Thank you for whoever made sure those were added this time and hope they continue to. It's the little things that make a big difference.
