"I wasn't impressed at all. It cost $100 to feed myself and my two small children, and most of it wasn't even edible. The fruit was rotten, and my kids' friend toach was nearly burnt and so hard they could barely eat it. The hot chocolate I got for them tasted like pure chocolate syrup. As for my food, only the eggs and veggies on my benedict were decent. The english muffin was so thick and soggy I gagged when I took a bite. "It is fish fry season so I took a gamble and ordered fish and chips. I did pay for direct to me because fried fish and French fries are not going to handle a multi-stop journey. It paid off! Three large portions of crispy, warm, not-at-all greasy fish. The fish was tasty and not at all fishy. Two lemon wedges and some tartar sauce were the right enhancements. The french fries had a lot of rosemary tonight, which I liked. Some may not. The meal did come with a tiny container of coleslaw, which I did not taste because I ordered cucumber salad. I am a sucker for cucumber salad, which explains why I spent $7 for 79 cents worth of cucumber. The salad is a dill and cream salad. Was tasty but pricey. If I am in a gambling mood, I would order this meal again."

I have never written a review for any restaurant on DoorDash before, But let my tell you Rib Shack honestly deserves one, and let me tell you why.
I am pretty much a creature of habit, so I get the same meal when I decide not to eat homemade lunch. Every time I order out consistently, for over almost the last year, they have always had good service and good food, and they always go above and beyond.
For example, today I ordered a catfish meal and a brisket slider. Nowhere in my order did I request a drink, and yet, just for great customer service, they threw in two drinks.
Everything is always well prepared and kept warm. The portions are a really, really good size, and it tastes like authentic soul food for a fraction of the price. You would pay the same for a full meal at some of these other places that claim to be the best in town.
Lastly, I think the biggest bang for your buck when it comes to Rib Shack is their catering. So, if you’re catering for a work lunch, a family gathering, or some type of church function, you’re going to get tons of food, really well prepared, warm, in nice foil pans, looking fantastic, and it’s going to cost you nowhere near what it would to get it from Famous Dave's or Dickey's or some of those other "fake" barbecue places.
But that’s just my opinion, and everyone should definitely give Rib Shack a shot.

I've order this meal 5 times and each time it's like a homemade meal.
They do not skimp on the portions as many many restaurants do. This is enough for me to eat 2-3 times.
