"I tend to reorder from this store because they never really fail me. The Curry Goat was cleaned, seasoned, and cooked well, resulting in fall-off-the-bone savory food. I don't usually play with Curry this late, at 12:30 am, but with this restaurant I'm not scared. The Whole Fish (Red Snapper) fish is always good here and drained well and the escoveitch sauce is nice and balanced. This fish was cooked well and still soft inside while fried on the outside. I tend to usually order a piece or two of their Sweet Potato Pudding. IDK which part of the island the baker comes from, but I love their hands in this one. 🙌"

"I’m a bit disappointed with my recent order. The ackee and saltfish was extremely salty, so much so that it seemed like the saltfish may not have been properly soaked or boiled to reduce the excess salt.
Additionally, the codfish fritters were much larger than usual and not consistent with prior orders, where they were smaller and more balanced in texture and flavor.
Based on my previous experiences, the quality and consistency have always been much better, which makes this visit stand out in a negative way. It honestly felt like the evening/night chef may be different from the daytime chef, because the difference in taste and execution was noticeable.
I hope this feedback is taken into consideration, as I’ve enjoyed the food in the past and would like to see that level of consistency return."

"This was my first order from this restaurant. I ordered Oxtails and Jerk Pork with Bread. It was worth every penny!!!! I know the oxtails are expensive...food inflation is no joke. However, I rather restaurants raise their prices than keeping it the same and giving you 2 oxtails. The portions are worth the prices and the food was DELICIOUS!!! They also followed my comments "exactly". The food was fresh and hot and packed very well. Sometimes you get what you pay for. I never thought I would ever pay 20 bucks for oxtails but it surely was worth it. And the jerk pork was so tasty and juicy. NOT unflavored and dried out like other Jamaican jerk restaurants. "Every time I come home I order fish from the dumpling shop. This is the first time EVER I have been disappointed. The dumplings were delicious. Big but still light and can hold up against the Extra Onions I ordered. But I was so used to getting a whole fish. The breaded filet of Whiting (4), Saltfish (2), & Dumplings (12) was soggy because of the onions whereas the whole fish they used to do wouldn't get soggy. If I knew it was a filet and not the whole whiting like they typically do, I would have never ordered it. Please go back to the old way."

"The candied yams were good but a bit messy as the juices leaked everywhere. The yams are a good portion but the marshmallow sauce they put on melts before it gets to you so it defeats the purpose you never taste it, but I would order it again. However, oxtail meal was horrible. I don't know if the rice wasting fresh or they just added way to much salt while making it but it was inedible. The oxtails themselves were good but you aren't given a good amount. So I had to just eat the meat and throw the rest away which is a waste of money."
