"Chicken Hibachi was good, lots of chicken, which was a plus. The $8 harumaki/ veggie spring rolls were WAY over priced though, wow. Its 2 tiny rolls sliced fancy so it looks like 4 servings. The tempura rolls were good, but nothing stood out as fabulous. Total order after tip was like $65 ish. I can't necessarily say it was worth it. We can get hibachi boy delivered for like $40."
"From the first time I visited Meiji to dine in, I knew this was a more expensive yet higher quality restaurant than the typical Chinese American fare. Do they cut their egg rolls diagonally, so they look bigger when only giving you two? Yes. But they're some of the most delicious Egg Roll I've had. Similarly the side Hot & sour soup is always excellent. Their Chongqing Chili Chicken could use a bit more Szechuan pepper spice, but is always a solid choice, and this is one of the few restaurants in the area that offers it. My only complaint is that with delivery, you can't specify what meat (or any meat) you get in your side Side Fried Rice, so I always recieve plain fried rice, but even plain it tastes decent. The food is always fresh whether eating in or getting delivery, and we always receive consistently good food from Meiji. Their sushi is great too, though we haven't tried their Hibachi. We usually order Meiji when we want something a little nicer than the usual Chinese takeout."
