"Let's start with the One Dozen bagels (Except Specialty bagels). They are a reasonable size and are well-coated with toppings on one side. Those toppings taste good. However, they are fairly bready (a step up from mass-market store bagels). That's depressing. When I go to a bagel shop, I want a real bagel with a bubbly crisp exterior with a slightly dense and flavorful interior. The entire bagel is light and almost fluffy.
As for the Egg Whites and Cheese Sandwich, I found it to be tasty, though I recommend asking for a flavored bagel, because that would improve the flavor and distract from the very soft plain bagels.
The Bagel basket Special Hot Sandwich wasn't very special. It was just a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. There was no sauce of any kind. Nothing different or unusual at all. The bacon was well-cooked and the scrambled egg was tasty. The name should be changed, though, if my sandwich was the norm for this item. Just call it a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich.
The flavored 5. Scallion Cream Cheese is good and looks locally made. The amount of scallions were decent.
All-in-all, the prices are typical for this area and the sandwiches were ok, but if you want real bagels, cooked propery, you might want to consider a different shop."

"The bagel nook is a great place for jam packed, delicious bagels! They have so many options to choose from. Everything tastes fresh. Only thing is, I'm not sure why they have the special instructions option if they never read it. I can never figure out how to get them to put the hashbrown on the side instead of on the Bacon & Egg Sandwich and I've tried every way possible to communicate that. Also, I recommend asking for your bacon extra crispy unless you want chewy, barely cooked bacon. And even then, they might not read the instructions and still give you chewy bits. It can be disappointing to pay $10+ for a bagel to have to remove all the bacon because it's almost inedible. All in all, they are better in person. I wish they would read the instructions or perhaps just add options for crispy bacon and hashbrowns on the side. "

"So I waited for the pick up time that kept gettin pushed back, and despite being marked ready it wasn't -- they started bagging when I asked for my order at the counter. No big, was going to let that go but just got home and the bagging is a mess. And to be clear, I was careful with the bag. Nothing got crushed in transit, this is just how carelessly the pastries were bagged. See pics.
Rice donuts were crushed, but whatever, they're fine. Portuguese Egg Tart was dumped out of the plastic upside down, which I find gross and careless but again, meh. But both coffee buns I ordered were totally crushed, topping crumbling everywhere. Worst of all, the morning bread is just a pack of plain rolls??? That's not at all what the menu description says. It's supposed to be connected rolls sliced in half with cream and jam. I have a bag of plain milk rolls which is a different item... I won't be back, way too expensive for all this to be such a mess."

"I can't even begin on how to describe this store. The detail they put in every meal is phenomenal. Had to call them once just to let them know how good their cafe is. The matcha einspanner is phenomenal when you add one pump of earl grey. And their avacado toast? You'll find nothing like that but most of all, their deserts OMG.
