But I'm sorry to say, although the chicken was tasty, it was okay, the coleslaw was soggy, and worst of all the Starry soda might as well have literally been off-taste plain sparkling water. I tasted it, then actually just got a can of my plain sparkling water out of my fridge. The Large Starry was a complete waste. The potatoes and gravy were good.
Then, when I told the store how bad the Starry was (cost $3.69), they said "Sorry, but nor refund or return possible. I know there's no return, but I've never in all the years I've used DoirDash tell me there's not at least a credit. Nothing.
I find this very disappointing."

"The Afang and Fufu is delicious. The soup I would compare to an american collard greens potlicker. Much milder in salt than "potlicker" would suggest but savor and rich flavor full and robust, without being salty at all. Dark in color, no bitter notes, a smooth and balanced bite that coats a sticky clump of neutral mashed potatoes (FuFu explained for the texture challenged eaters). Chopped greens make it easy to chew without being mushy, would pair well with bread or white rice if fufu is not your thing. Tinder bites of meat sum up a larger than expected portion size for the price of this great meal. African food is not meant to be eaten with an American mindset nor palate. Its not a bowl of collard greens with smoked turkey legs or neck bones. The sauce or soup is water based and not very thick but it is hearty and filling. Largely because of the FuFu. I'm excited to try the fish protein option next. I've had the beef, goat meat, and OXTAILS! "

The sauce was definitely bland, seriously in need of garlic and herbs. Finally, I don't believe this was even baked in advance to let the flavors merge. It was like it was assembled from precooked components when it was ordered and quickly heated. Last but not least, the garlic bread kept to the bland flavor theme, then wrapped in foil and sauna steamed into limp mush. Premium price, greasy spoon quality."
