"Overall food was good. Gyro & Chicken Mix is a good option if you want salad, hummus, pita bread, rice and 2 choice of meat. The chicken in it was just ok so next time I will order the gyro. Salad was good, rice was good, pita bread was soft. Hummus was creamy and for the gyro meat I had no complaints. It tasted as gyro should taste like. Kataifi I've never had before. It was nice and sweet and the pistachios in it was definitely shining through. Pistachio Roll Baklava was way sweeter than the Kataifi. They give you 2 peices of baklava but half of 1 peice is enough because of how sweet it was. Also, I could taste more of the pistachios in the Kataifi than I did in the Pistachio Roll Baklava. Small portion of Chicken Tikka Masala for cost. But still good. That was a little disapointing and those 2 reasons is why I didnt rate 5 stars. I feel for the cost of food there should be more of the dishes themselves. "

"Beteseb is one of those rare restaurants that gets better every time you go. This was my second visit, and the combination beef and vegetarian platter was incredible from start to finish. The kitfo was my favorite, with the beets, tibs, and the wot close behind. The injera was perfect. Soft, tangy, and easily some of the best I have ever had.
The owner and chef are warm, friendly, and genuinely kind. The whole place feels like a family home where you are always welcome. It was a full house during my visit, and my dining partner and I were the only people speaking English. That is always the sign you are in the right spot for real, well-loved food.
