"I'm sad to give this store a thumb down. Their pizza is not bad, but it's below my standards of quality. I ordered 2 pies. Both of them arrived with bubbles all around the edge and in a couple of places the interior of the pie. So it's the kinda place where you throw away a big bucket of crusts.
I used to work at a pizza place. This is unacceptable. In the case of Marco's it ends up making the outer 2 inches or so of the crust unappealing, so if you order a large you end up with more like a medium in terms of what you actually eat.
The hand tossed original crust is decent but nothing to write home about. The pepperoni was very good.
Advice to the owner is to invest in a long fork to pop the bubbles, and to try to make the whole pizza edible. Make the edge of the crust a lot smaller, and I'll eat the whole slice. And enjoy it.
Again, sorry this was a thumb's down review, but that's my honest opinion. I won't be ordering again, but that doesn't mean the pizza is bad, it just means there are better options out there making this not worth it to me."

"From the reviews I've read on Grata's Pizzeria, I must say it's the most over-rated, overly expensive pizze you will find in South Austin. First off, it's around ~$25 for a 16" pie, but in actuality there's at least two inches of just bread crust around the perimeter (ie: NO toppings), so you're basically getting a 14" pizza. And they have no idea how to place toppings (eg: with all the olives grouped in small clusters, great if you wanna eat half of the olives in a single bite), and there was probably one single sliced, cooked mushroom on the entire pizza, and only two Basil leaves. I had to add my own garlic b/c apparently their garlic confit is non-existent. They skimp on the toppings. And little things like a very limited 'Add-on' option set - for example on a shredded mozz type pizza like the "ROMA", you can add extra chease for an up-charge, but you can't specify the fresh mozzarella, and no way to add garlic, basil, etc.. And of course they refuse any comments, requests, preferences on the DoorDash app. I ate the whole pizza and I'm still hungry. They are simply clueless on how they're approaching the Austin market."

"For the lunch price... Salvation did the job, but that's about it. The Side Caesar salad was fresh and croutons were not so crispy (how I like it personally). The dressing it came with was very tasty. The Lunch Spaghetti & Meatballs were very bland and tasted like jar sphagetti sauce with undercooked meatballs. The Parmesan cheese that came in the packet helped but only a little. Probably not getting that ever again, but I do love their pizza!"
