However, the steamed buns were dry. Inside flavorful but the actual bun was dry. Not like the normal steamed buns experience of airy light n moist. This was dense dry and heavy.
The musubis spam to rice ratio was comical. I know us islanders love our rice but we love our spam too. The spam was a sliver of a cut and the rice was not sticky. The sauce was good though.
The baked bun. Phenomenal. Bread was airy with the right crispy to softness. The inside was flavorful and plentiful.
The wings were good just hella small.
Breakfast bun was bomb. The only think is the cut size of the celery. They were huge so the celery kinda overpowered the flavor of the bun.
Fried dumpling I didn't eat because it was smashed into the bag. But it smelled good.

Chips were fine, although not salted. When the driver arrived I got a message "Come pick up your order" from the outside of my workplace which seemed rude. Usually they bring the stuff to you. I tipped in advance as you do on DoorDash ($10 on a $30 dollar order) because I know times are tough, but I regret that now. "Carne Asada Fries were super good and loaded as shown in the pictures they provided. It was also seasoned very well and the sauces just make it all the better. However, like others said, they do skimp out on the toppings. I had to add extra guacamole and sour cream to make it flavorful- if I didn't, I'd imagine it being more on the drier side.
Otherwise, we're extremely satisfied and this is one of the best fries we've had. The Aguas Frescas (horchata) was also delicious and refreshing. I'm the type who doesn't like their drinks that sweet and this was perfectly balanced. Definitely a place I'd get horchata from compared to others!

The F65 roll is my favorite and it did not disappoint! Everything was fresh, portion size was on point I even shared some with my teenage son. "I love Bento Box. My son ordered the Chicken Teriyaki BB with rice only. The chicken is cooked well and the teriyaki adds a little sweetness. His only issue is they do t give you enough sauce with those tiny cups. I always forget to order him extra. The sauce cups are ridiculously small. I ordered the F65 roll without spicy mayo this time and it was good. The shrimp tempura and soft shell crab give it that crunch that I love and the sauces they top it with are so yummy. This time though the cucumber tasted really raw and was a little hard and potent. We were pretty satisfied overall. "

I like that menu has expanded but other changes were not improvements IMO & do not justify the extreme price increases. Recipe changes to my favorite menu items ie okonomiyaki (oversauced, overseasoned), garlic butter fried rice is unrecognizable from before, now looks/tastes like all the other fried rices on the menu. I generally believe that "change is good." However for me as a very local, loyal customer Tenjin no longer stands out from other ramen/Japanese venues. I've tried all my previous favorite dishes & they're no longer favorites."

"I got the TONKOTSU AKAMARU (RED) and it was pretty good. The broth was flavorful and noodles were perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of bounce and texture. This one is also a personal preference, but I wish it was slightly spicier.
Only thing I'd avoid is the TAKOYAKI (8) It wasn't worth the price and it was 1% octopus and 99% batter. Could probably get better at a boba shop. "

"I’ve been getting takeout from this sushi restaurant for years, as I had errands in that area of Freeport. This was my first DoorDash from the restaurant and everything was the same and as expected.
I always get the bento box. It comes with 2 CA roll pieces (not listed on DoorDash description), rice, salad, and 2 entrees. I get the teriyaki salmon and veggie tempura. I often get a separate order of CA rolls (in photo) or other sushi. You can see from the photo the amount of tempura in the bento is very abundant.
I can rationalize such food deliveries if I’m able get a few meals out of it, I’ve eaten half (or less), am full, and will have the rest tomorrow. Delicious as always."

Golden California Roll, enjoyed it, but most of the avocado was black. The Kamikaze was great as well, especially for tuna lovers. Just wasn't too happy about the rolls being packaged together since one was a hot roll. The soda were soo good, especially the Mango Cream Soda. Super refreshing."
