"I’ve been getting takeout from this sushi restaurant for years, as I had errands in that area of Freeport. This was my first DoorDash from the restaurant and everything was the same and as expected.
I always get the bento box. It comes with 2 CA roll pieces (not listed on DoorDash description), rice, salad, and 2 entrees. I get the teriyaki salmon and veggie tempura. I often get a separate order of CA rolls (in photo) or other sushi. You can see from the photo the amount of tempura in the bento is very abundant.
I can rationalize such food deliveries if I’m able get a few meals out of it, I’ve eaten half (or less), am full, and will have the rest tomorrow. Delicious as always."
"The SK2. Beef Sukiyaki was definitely fulfilling and a heartier soup, so it was worth the price point. I loved the beef with it as well, hardly any fattier pieces. My sister got the R8. Golden California Roll, enjoyed it, but most of the avocado was black. The Kamikaze was great as well, especially for tuna lovers. Just wasn't too happy about the rolls being packaged together since one was a hot roll. The soda were soo good, especially the Mango Cream Soda. Super refreshing."

"This roll was saucy and the portion size was good for one person. I went out on a limb to try a new place because the reviews are outstanding. However, it just wasn't for me. If you like Americanized sushi, this spot is probably great. It arrived fresh and the fish tasted fine, albeit a bit dominated by sauce and toppings (the avocado was weirdly overpowering, and tasted like it was too mushy/about to go bad).
I just prefer my sushi a little more authentic where you can appreciate the fish you are eating. Don't let this review deter you from trying this place. If you love sushi rolls with toppings and sauces, you will probably like this place. Again, it just wasn't for me."

Tuna Tataki: 5/5 this was the best thing we ordered. Sauce was tangy but flavorful, fish cuts tastes fresh, were thick and generous. It was a bit expensive but was worth it for the quality. We even Dipped the two rolls in the sauce and it made it better.
We struck out with 3/4 dishes. It's prob fine for most people but after Japan, it's difficult to find sushi up to par."
