"2nd time getting the Strawberry Cake cause 1st time it was so nice & refreshing. Used to be only strawberries in the cake, but now there's the new addition of sultanas. The sultanas blended in well & gave the cake more texture while making the cream less dense & sickening. But the kids in our home(+ an adult) didn't appreciate the sultanas like I did.
Tried hard to be open minded with the Salted cheese coffee. But there were too many faults that I couldn't overlook. 1st, it was not a coffee. It was +$10... almost $15! For such a teeny weeny bottle; A THIN bottle! (~ the size of a soft drink can. )
I sipped on it a few times but I couldn't overcome the saltiness. They weren't kidding about the salted part. "Salted cheese" is an UNDERSTATEMENT. I tried to pour in some milk and mixed to mellow it down. Then I repeated the cycle another 2 times... STILL salty all those times. Gave up on it & couldn't finish it."

"The Signature Wagyu Rice w/ Signature Teriyaki Sauce is simply unbelievable. The steak was perfectly prepared and felt like heaven on the taste buds. The egg fell apart with some movement from the fork and spread across the rice itself, which helped accent the dish further. The Miso Soup was warming and delicate with malleable tofu blocks. The Sakura Rose Tea w/ Ichigo Pearls was a sweet and beautiful way to wrap up this once in a while lunch experience.

I called the store and they offered some solutions but I was really quite frustrated at the time and probably wasn't super great. I did end up re-ordering and having to spend extra money to get the items delivered again but the store made up for it and I really do think that this is the best bake house in the west. "I ordered the Pad see Lew with seafood. Served in a large round bowl (not a rectanglar container).
There was nice charring on the flat rice noodles, the prawns with the shell-on tails had a nice crisp bite. The fish was very soft. The flower-cut squid was ok, but still had a bit of tough chew you get on a lot of sqid from other places. The Chinese broccoli had a nice bite and wasn't too hard or soft.
Overall, I enjoyed the dish, and would order it again or even take my family there to try out in person."
