"Both the Hazelnut Bread Pudding and Warm and Warm & Toasty were delicious, but very small portions for the price. The bread pudding is similar to French toast, but with a more gooey texture, and a very sweet, caramel taste. Roasted hazelnuts add a bit of crunch.
The Warm & Toasty only came in one size, which is equivalent to a small at Starbucks. It's also extra sweet, with brown sugar being the dominant flavor, so it went well with the Hazelnut Bread Pudding.

Monte Cristo sandwich was just as described: thin-sliced deli ham and Cheddar cheese between two pieces of French toast. The French toast was golden brown on the outside and soft and custardy on the inside, like French toast should be.
I didn't think the carmel dip paired well with the ham and cheese, so I put it in my coffee instead. I suggest they add a way to request cream and sugar with coffee orders, since mine came black. And maybe offer raspberry jam (another traditional side for a Monte Cristo) as an alternative to the dip.
Fresh fruit was sliced pineapple (not canned). Not a super big portion, but a nice palate cleanser after the salty ham sandwich."

So if you are an early riser and wake up craving biscuits and gravy, plus really good bacon and coffee, this is the place to go. Summary: I tried this place because I saw there were good reviews and it was discounted. The food was edible, but not necessarily enjoyable. In the future, I'll stick to McDs for something better or Bardos for the best in Salem."

"The Popcorn Chicken with Rice did not live up to the positive reviews. Chicken was dry and way, way overseasoned, mostly with black pepper. The rice was decent, but white rice is cheap and easy to make at home. Green beans were also ok, seasoned with butter and a little black pepper. Too bad they didn't use the same light hand with the pepper shaker on the chicken.
Lemon Smoothie was ok. I ordered it with 0% added sugar because I am prediabetic; I also just like sour things. It wasn't as tart as I expected it to be, nor did it taste like any artificial sweetener I know of, so I expect it still has some added sugar. It would have been nice if they had provided nutritional information. They also didn't include the serving size; I would guesstimate it to be about 16 oz.
Bottom line: the smoithie is similar to a frozen lemonade that you could get at a fast food restaurant for about half the price, and unlike this restaurant, McDonald's will tell you exactly how many calories and grams of sugar it has. And the chicken was just bad.

The Orange Chicken wasn't quite what we expected (no thick orange sauce) but the chicken itself was yummy and the sauce was better once we strained all of the red pepper flakes out. (Still too spicy but he used it more like a dip instead of pouring it over which helped as well.) The Pad Thai Noodle with chicken was good, but next time I'll dial back to a 1 or 0 in spiciness. The Crab Rangoon tasted stales and more breast than crispy so we'll probably skip it next time. Overall, best Thai we've had in the M-I area."

"This is the best pad Thai in Salem. I've literally tried it all. It always arrives pipping hot and the ingredients always taste fresh. Some places on doordash dont even let you choose your spice level, which should be a crime. I love spicy food and have a high tolerance. I always add 3 or 4 stars for spice and it clears the sinuses--Thai Cuisine of Salem doesn't mess around when it comes to giving their food that extra kick. They don't overdo it with the sweet flavoring--it's the perfect blend of sweet, savory and heat. I'm drooling just talking about it. I usually get beef for my protein and it's always perfectly cooked and seasoned--nice and tender.
I know they're expensive. I promise it's worth it. I'm always disappointed when I order Pad Thai anywhere else and always regret not ordering from Thai Cuisine of Salem. They hook you up with a generous portion.

Pad Thai was the best I've had since we moved to Salem, the Pad Se Ew was great flavors, very hearty and just the right spice. The 2. Spring Rolls (5 pieces) were delicious and the 4.
