"This place was so good! I got the Fried Mojarra (fried fish) and my husband got the Grilled Arrachera Steak - we didn't really have high expectations but this place far exceeded any even if we did. We got delivery and the fried fish was still crispy when it got here and the grilled steak was charred well. Overall out of the three items only the birria tacos were worth getting being generously filled with meat and cheese and having a good flavor. The pastor tacos lacked in flavor and the meat was tough and chewy. The huaraches appeared great but was a soggy mess in the center. Totally fine and expected with the toppings but the issue was the barbacoa. Have never in my life had barbacoa made with BBQ sauce. Took several bites to confirm if it was indeed bbq sauce even one while writing the review. If it's labeled properly as bbq pulled meat then people would probably enjoy it but barbacoa is entirely different. Rice and bean side for the birria tacos also never arrived and for the amount of food they only gave one green and one red salsa no option on doordash to order more. 2/5 would order birria tacos again from them and nothing else."

"I’ve eaten here before, and unfortunately, this visit was just as disappointing. I ordered the Memphis ribs, and they were dry, overcooked, and completely lacking in flavor. They didn’t have the smoky, tender, fall-off-the-bone quality you’d expect from good barbecue.
The mashed potatoes were awful. They were thick, hard, and full of potato skins, with an unpleasant texture that tasted like they had been sitting around for a while. The macaroni and cheese had almost no cheese flavor at all—it was bland and forgettable. To make matters worse, the gravy tasted like collard greens had been mixed into it. If that’s intentional, it should be listed on the menu because it completely ruined the mashed potatoes.
As someone who knows Southern cooking, this is nowhere close to authentic Southern food. It lacks the seasoning, soul, and flavor that Southern barbecue is known for. It honestly tastes like it was made by people who don’t understand what real Southern comfort food is supposed to be.
The biggest disappointment is the price. I spent nearly $100, and the quality wasn’t even close to matching what they charge. The food was overpriced, bland, and simply not worth the money.
I won’t be going back, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Southern barbecue."

"TL;DR it was good tasting, good value, with high quality ingredients, but a packaging fail on the Chips & Queso queso.
Cheesesteak Quesadilla was a good amount and quality of meat for the application. Mild cheese, yummy. Nice lime on the side to jazz it up.
Build-Your-Own Salad was ordered with chicken, which I assumed would be grilled or plain in the absence of other information, but turned out to be chicken in adobo. It was pretty good, but I might have ordered steak instead if I'd known. Garnishes and greens were all high quality and even exceptional! The high quality fresh pickled jalapenos and onions were great. Minor complaint, they could've put the sour cream and cheese off to one side rather than in a thick clump over the whole thing (can't customize amounts).
Chips & Queso was a fail, the thin plastic 2 oz container was so melted around the hot cheese it was part of it. No one would eat it or let me try it! But it looked good and I commend them for keeping it hot in house, just please use a paper container or something that won't melt. It was also a smaller portion than expected.
I plan to order here again since the ingredient quality and value show they're really trying!"
