The portion is not very large however, they compact a lot of basic white rice in which should fill most people up. But for $16 I would've preferred more chicken and plantains.
The tequenos were not bad, but I sort of felt absurd after I saw them in person. They are very small, which makes sense because they are rich and served with a basil sauce that feels like a mayonaise, it doubles down for an unpleasant level of heaviness. There's no world in which that was $12 well spent. These felt like food truck portions and prices. Had the bowl been $14, and the tequenos $6, I would've felt like I got a great meal.
