"Genuinely a surprised by how good the food was. Both Kebab Rolls (w Chicken) actually reminded us of the way they used to be made when we were kids - so it was surprisingly nostalgic for us. The Chips not only arrived hot but the size portion was super generous (bought a medium) and could easily feed 2-3 ppl or 2 hungry lads.
The Spinach Pide and Garlic Pide Bread were great and exactly what I was expecting.

I't didn't work. The squid was chewy, undercooked, cold and the batter was soggy. Another huge disappointment as it also lacked salt&pepper seasoning, no chilli, no lemon, no herbs and soggy old few green / brown leaves (salad :( )mashed underneath, the dipping sauce tasted like store bought cheap sweet chilli sauce. For the main we had the Massaman beef which was average overall. The beef itself was good portion and cooked well, however there was only 2 pieces of small undercooked sweet potato. The dish overall lacked seasoning and any depth in flavour. Thankfully we had our own salad and rice to salvage the meal. I hope this restaurant improves otherwise I have no doubt more negative reviews will follow. We will never order here again. I hope to hear a direct response from the owner as that was a $59.70 order, dangerous with seafood and all round awful experience "

I have eaten at another suburb in-house at Fishbowl a few years ago & I absolutely loved all the meals I had at that store at that time but years later ordering home delivery here at this store I was expecting to get the same delightful meals & I was certainly disappointed by the lack of the salad all round.
I'm trying to blame my disappointment on myself by suggesting I shouldn't change the ingredients of the salad & simply buy as is (I mean not adding anything more as I did eg. added extra avocado cucumber etc etc) but that shouldn't be the case as I've always added more or less of what I prefer with no issues.
So I'm sorry to say that I definitely had a bad tasting salad today & wished it wasn't the case. I will try one more time in the future because as mentioned I really loved these salads years ago. Hopefully the standards haven't dropped since that date with lower quality ingredients & hopefully Fishbowl can take this review as an opportunity to lift the quality back to when it first opened. Please also make sure the tofu is super fresh & delicious like before."
