"Cheese bread was burned only the middle pieces had any real amount of cheese on it. The ends where dark brown and what cheese was on it was dark brown too. It was late and I didn't have any nerve to get a replacement. The pieces that I did eat had a overcooked taste. No flavor from the seasoning or cheese.
The pizza was ok. Cold and lacked enough cheese but at least it wasn't burned. Most likely won't order again at least for late night. Thinking about it, I got the cheese puffs not too long ago and they were borderline burnt. They had the overcooked taste too. Like getting fries in old oil"

I'm down here with my wife from Ocala, FL for a conference. We ordered the Create Your Own Old World Style Pizza (Large 16") with Pepperoni, a 1/2 dozen Garlic Rolls and a Caesar Side Salad. This was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. I knew it was going to be great when I opened the box and saw that the pizza was covered with fresh basil. I have never seen a pizza place include fresh basil without charging for it as a separate topping. The sauce was perfect, the pepperoni was perfect, and the crust was perfect. The Garlic Rolls were also delicious. Best of all, the Create Your Own Old World Style Pizza (Large 16") and the Garlic Rolls were still hot when I got them. Not warm, but HOT. OUTSTANDING JOB!! The jumbo slice from Dough Boys has always been my go-to ever since I moved to Lauderdae 7 years ago.
Being from the Italian section of Boston, I grew up with the best pizza shops on every corner.
This is definitely one of the best in Fort Lauderdale, but lately, it's been so inconsistent
Usually, the crust is thin and crispy, and the amounts of cheese, oil, and seasonings are just perfect.
This only happened a few other times a while ago, but then it went back to normal a few months ago.
It happened again today. It definitely didn't taste or look like Dough Boys jumbo slice, except for the size.
The dough was so thick, and the crust was thick and raw, as was the cheese and the sauce.
I love cheese, but this was over the top inedible.
On top of everything else, it was bland. Needless to say, I had a couple of bites but couldn't eat it.
They have incredible pizza and ingredients, but they need to show all the help how it's done."
