Habaneros always made great burritos, but since Lucy's took over, I'm not a fan. Not a dig on them, I'm sure they work extremely hard, but it's simply not good quality for what you're paying for. "Let me start with we are from New Mexico and so we do eat a lot of Mexican food and love our ma and pa local places. Overall, the food was OK but here's what we thought of each item. Parmesan fries: slight tangy flavor, wobbly fries not crisp, kind of burnt tasting as well. Carne Asada Tacos with beans and rice: the meat was delicious but the white tortillas fell apart and so I was not able to eat it as tacos, I had to use a spoon to eat the taco filling, the salsa was delicious, the rice was not good but I'm not big on Spanish rice, my family is and they tried it and said it wasn't good, the beans were good. Sopapilla burgers: We had one with cheese and one without. The one with cheese was dry and burnt, no condiments, the sopapilla was delicious, fries were soggy and burnt tasting. The one without cheese was good other than being dry, but she put salsa on it and it tasted better, the fries were burnt and wobbly. Fried Chicken Buffalo Ranch Fries: fries were soggy, the chicken felt tough like tendons, the toppings were good.
There was no plasticware or napkins."
