"Shawarmaje used to be one of our absolute go-to spots. We ordered from them every week without even thinking about it because the food was consistently excellent, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Their shawarma sandwiches were light, flavorful, and never felt heavy, which is exactly what kept us coming back.
Over the past few months, though, something changed. The bread they’re using now just isn’t the same. It makes the sandwiches noticeably greasier and heavier, and it takes away from what used to be such a clean, satisfying bite. The flavor is still there, and the quality of the fillings is still strong, which is why it’s honestly frustrating more than anything.
They’re still one of the best in the area, no question. But that bread change has had a real impact. If they went back to what they were using before, it would immediately bring them back to being top tier without hesitation."

And I like garlic cuz I ordered a small side of the garlic paste. The garlic paste tasted weird, almost spicy. Not to mention the rice and "warm" bread were cold. The bag the bread came in was wide open, hence the coldness of it. Very disappointed this time around. My husband ordered the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich and he liked it. I'll probably give them one more try because I've never had problems like these before. Maybe it was just an off day. "
