"McDonald's usually gets it right, but tonight's order was a bit of a miss. I expect delivered fries to be less than hot, but the ones tonight were horrible. They were so undercooked they were white and had the texture of cooked spaghetti, plus the carton was only half full. The Big Mac had so much sauce on it that it was running everywhere, overwhelming the meat and bun. The diet Doctor Pepper was good, though! "I so very much wanted this place to be good, but my first experience with it was terribly disappointing. The garlic and cheese naan tasted of nothing but flour, the butter chicken was bland and lacking much actual meat, and the pakora completely tasteless. The lamb in the biryani was tender, but the massive chunks of onion with it completely overwhelmed everything else. Every single item I ordered tasted like zero salt was used in its preparation (and I say this as someone very sensitive to overuse of salt). I didn’t even save the leftovers, it was so underwhelming, and that almost *never* happens.
I’m hoping it was just an off night for them and their food is usually much better, and maybe I’ll give them another chance in a few months if they’re still around. But until then, the place in Sherwood will remain my go-to, even if it is pricier."
