"No joke, best door dash deal I have gotten so far! If I am lazy enough to have someone bring food to my doorstep and treat myself, indont really want to pay over $30 for a salad and app. So I got the $45 meal thinking it would be just small versions of each thing...nope people, it was a real deal. Full size, big size, everything . I ate some after laughing at the ridiculousness of the amount of food, took leftovers to work and fed four people off it and still have enough for two more! I didn't even care that the breadsticks were like hard missiles, I was actually kind of glad so it was less to eat. To top it all off, it was tasty! Perfect for a family of four easily! "Overall really good - but everyone is acting like this is the best Indian food ever. The texture of the spinach Chicken Saag Wala was super blended spinach which was very different than other ones I've had. Bhangan Bengan Bhartha was good, not exceptional. The chicken soup was super unique and excellent. I loved the lamb samosa but it was just lamb filler - no peas and potatoes. The pickles were great and special. Portions are big and everything was fresh. Not oily or heavy at all.
I would order again if I was craving Indian. I am from the Bay Area so I can't speak to how this compares to other local options. That's also probably why I wasn't quite as impressed."
"Masala Twist's kitchen hits a home run every single time. This is a great local restaurant that offers up GENEROUS portions at a great price, and it is authentic Indian cuisine. The naan slices are large. The diced chicken is always cooked beautifully. The curry sauce is unbelievably rich and uses the perfect blend of spices. "We chose to order from Rincon Brewery in order to support a local business, selecting the Cobb salad and the fish and chips. The Cobb salad with chicken was $18. For this price you figure you will get a typical Cobb salad full of toppings, generous portions. Unfortunately the salad was soggy and with extremely skimpy portions, equivalent to what you might expect from a fast food restaurant. I can't imagine a restaurant of any type would ever serve something like this in person. The fish and chips were not as overwhelmingly poor, but were still soggy and not fresh (not attributable to the delivery - our driver was prompt and picked the order up immediately). During the pandemic we have ordered take out more than fifty times and this was hands down the worst quality of take out food we have experienced from any restaurant. we would like to continue supporting local restaurants, but after this experience it is hard to include Rincon Brewery on this list."
