Overall really good - but everyone is acting like this is the best Indian food ever. The texture of the spinach Chicken Saag Wala was super blended spinach which was very different than other ones I've had. Bhangan Bengan Bhartha was good, not exceptional. The chicken soup was super unique and excellent. I loved the lamb samosa but it was just lamb filler - no peas and potatoes. The pickles were great and special. Portions are big and everything was fresh. Not oily or heavy at all.
I would order again if I was craving Indian. I am from the Bay Area so I can't speak to how this compares to other local options. That's also probably why I wasn't quite as impressed.

Masala Twist's kitchen hits a home run every single time. This is a great local restaurant that offers up GENEROUS portions at a great price, and it is authentic Indian cuisine. The naan slices are large. The diced chicken is always cooked beautifully. The curry sauce is unbelievably rich and uses the perfect blend of spices. The food always arrives well-packaged, and still hot. I am unfortunately moving out of the area in June, and I am really going to miss this place. Anthony Bourdain would have loved your restaurant.

SOO GOOD! So flavorful! The portion sizes are also very big (Im able to make myself a plate and save the other half for dinner another time which is great, since I'm not a huge eater in one sitting) Really a gem when it comes to Indian food here in Oxnard, and quickly became one of my favorites :)

I've grown up on this food since I was a toddler. From DC, to all over the USA. This is one of the best kitchens in California for genuine Indian food. Their Biryani, Tikka, and Masala are the best I've had in California, hands down.

Love love this place! I tried these 2 dishes for the first time and they are delicious just like all their other food! And I love how they seal their for delivery orders and they include a receipt all the time! thank you Masala Twist for always going above and beyond for your customers an for sharing your traditional food with us! :)
