The Mediocre:
1. Crinkle-cut Fries: These were just average fries—no seasoning, nothing remarkable. They were fine as a side, but not memorable.
2. Collard Greens: The vinegar-water base wasn’t my personal style, though the seasoning was decent, and they included smoked meat for added flavor. While they were edible, they didn’t stand out.
The Disappointments:
1. Macaroni and Cheese: The portion size was incredibly small, and it wasn’t baked—it was just standard shell pasta with cheese sauce. The dish lacked seasoning, requiring additional salt and pepper to be palatable.
2. Candied Yams: These were just okay. They didn’t have the rich sweetness or buttery depth I was hoping for.

While I appreciate the effort, Uncle Ray’s Drive-In didn’t quite meet my expectations. The wings and smoked turkey leg were fantastic and worth ordering again, but the sides and desserts didn’t deliver on flavor or value.
