This Larb was not what i expected, and i have eaten Larb in many Thai restaurants prior to this. In this the flavors were all wrong, IMO. all I could taste was sugar and basil. i got no taste of lemongrass, fish sauce, and no umami from rice powder. The chicken wasn't ground to a consistent small size. It almost seemed over cooked and firm.

Mama's could benefit from clarifying their menu options on Doordash by making the protein choices more clear. I also ordered the Lao style 3. Papaya salad and it was mediocre. I always hear from people that this place has good papaya salad but I was extremely disappointed. No touch of spicy in it. All I tasted was the crab paste. No tamarind, no spice, no sour. This dish is supposed to be a marriage of spicy, sour, sweet and salty all at once."
