Guava empanada is $2.00 less than the meat filled ones, and makes a tasty, tropical fruit flavored dessert. Tastes kind of like a cross between strawberry and lemon.

I'd never had fried plantains before, but they were quite tasty as well. Less sweet than regular bananas, with yellow-orange flesh and a texture similar to a baked sweet potato. They came with a kind of caramel dipping sauce.

"Tamal combination was almost too much food for one person. I didn't finish most of the rice and beans, and am still feeling very full. They also threw in a small bag of chips and a container of salsa.
