"The brioche sweet bread has a weird texture. I've had this brioche plenty of times from other locations, their breads are always fresh, soft, fluffy and sweet. The one I had today from this Torrance location was completely the opposite, There's no sweetness in the brioche, it taste like a regular bread you get from the market to make a sandwich, and the quality was not as fresh. As for the blueberry pastry, The blueberry filling inside was not fluffy like whipped cream as usual, it was wet and flattened.. seemed old or left out in the sun. As for the dough around it, was either over cooked/baked or just old, it was sucked in rather than round and smooth on the outside like it usually is. These pastries I buy so many times so I know how it's supposed to look and taste. I threw most of it away. Nothing was tased fresh. Two stars instead of one because the few other pastries i had was at least decent. "

"Good quality all around. I really like that their bechemel sauce does not have nutmeg and there were no weird herbs. The cheeses used all have good flavor. The Savory Belgian Waffles were a fun sweet and savory dish, the Croque Madam was good, the Ricotta Pancakes with Berry Compote were very light and fluffy. They got my Turnover - Raspberry wrong and gave me a chocolate croissant instead."

They falsely advertise in their image a sandwich with multiple layers of ham and cheese only to provide one thin slice of ham and one thin slice of cheese, as you can see in the image. The owner lacks accountability and lies when you provide feedback. As someone else mentioned the mocha tasted like cheap chocolate syrup was put in it. They claim there is sauce yet the sandwich is very dry. Don't waste your $20 on a terrible sandwich and $11 on a mediocre mocha. There are plenty of other options with owners who respect their customers instead of lying and gaslighting about their poor quality food."
