My faves were the torta and plantains--I'm obsessed with plantains maduros and it's been a challenge for me to find THE plantains maduros, and my fellow foodie friends, this place has got them. The torta was sooo good--incredibly messy, but absolutely delicious. I devoured it in record time--I might be wearing some too (snacks for later). The pickled jalapeño on top was the perfect topper on an avalanche of fresh veggies and meat galore.
Of course, for me, the plantains were the star of the show, and the pupusa was tasty too--though I only had room for a small bite as I had SCARFED up the torta and managed to make a dent in the plantains.
