I ordered the Fried Chicken Dark Meat and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!
Not only is the actual chicken seasoned and flavorful(not just the skin) but the greens are exceptional. Mashed potatoes had a hint of garlic which I liked as well. Everything was great, would HIGHLY recommend ordering from here. If you want authentic soul food, this is the place.

I was a dine in. Had the fried catfish which was not fried hard enough so the skin was a bit slimy and it turned me away from it. I had a side of mac which was ok but not my favorite it tasted a bit like chicken maybe its the seasonings used or maybe they boil the noodles using chicken broth but I do not prefer it. The side of greens were ok just need some salt and I do wish it had turkey meat as stated on the menu but compared to the rest it was the highlight of the meal. The prices are insane compared to the quality of the food I ended up paying 60 which included 1 bar drink, table drink, and peach cobbler anywhere else this meal would likely be 30-40 dollars with way better quality but I left here hungry and 60 dollars broker. I haven't been back.

The Fried Catfish was delicious! It was seasoned just right and fried perfectly. The macaroni and cheese was delicious as well. The Fried Chicken White Meat was a little dry. The breast was the smallest I have ever seen. It was the size of a thigh. The candied yams were good and the collards were flavorful.

Food was disappointing. Chicken dry, collards needed salt. Corn cob left in water way too long. And they snuck in a $17 “take out fee” to cover their costs in styrofoam despite the fact we picked it up. Showed it as a 20% large party fee. IKR.

My order from Soul Secrets was delicious as always. The fried catfish was fresh and fried just right. I had so much food, there is enough for a meal today. Thank you Soul Secrets for a job well done. I will be calling again, because I can't come in. Enjoyed it all.
