I love this place! If I am not feeling well, I have to have their Chicken Soup (32oz) which includes a gigantic tortilla! It always hits the spot and I swear it makes me feel better sooner! No joke! They use top quality delicious ingredients and give big portions. So, whenever you're hungry again it'll be there waiting for you and just as tasty if not better! Thank you Lourdes! ♥️

I have been ordering this soup for YEARS! This was the first time I was sadly disappointed! First, it was missing the fresh cilantro and onions on top, no limes and it tasted as if they dumped a lot of salt in it! I could barely eat the chicken it was that salty! Such a disappointment when I'm paying over $20 for just a soup! Hoping this isn't the new norm and they haven't changed the recipe.

Chicken soup is wonderful and has always been a favorite. Highly recommend it!
However ... the other menu items are not anything special and a bit overpriced for what you get. Today I tried the rolled tacos for the first time ... they were plain rolled tacos, soft like I ordered with a sprinkling of grated cheese and a tiny little dollop of guacamole on the side as requested. No lettuce or salsa. Just plain rolled tacos. Not worth the $9. So stick to the chicken soup - you probably will love it like the rest of Escondido does! But just don't expect much from any other menu items there.

BEST FOOD IN ESCONDIDO!! Especially when your sick, nothing makes me feel better than some chicken soup made with love and flavor. You won't be disappointed, you do get what you paid for. I love my hardworking Raza

They are known for the Chicken Soup (32oz) which is really good. Apparently when you order on door dash though you don't get the salsas, lime, onions and things on the side.
The Carne Asada Chips were disappointing. The meat was good but very little cheese and guacamole. They were very dry I will just stick to getting the soup here and not other things.
