I have ordered from Capitol Cider for many years. As a celiac it was a favorite spot. For the last couple years, portions have been getting smaller. This time, it appears the new owners changed the recipe for the Fish & Chips! The batter had a lot of warm, middle eastern spices in it. The spices of batter over-powered the amazing (unchanged) tartar sauce. Spices aren't horrible, but not traditional fish & chips at all. Anyway, thanks for saving me money. Won't be ordering again anytime soon..

The Crispy Calamari description said it came with an aloe dipping sauce. It arrived without it. Those spicy crispy calamari really needed that dipping sauce and it is disappointing when the staff is forgetful and leaves those items out. Changes a good dish to a so-so dish. The cinnamon rolls are great but why no baking directions for a take and bake item?

Fries and fish were both over fried and dried up. Looked much darker and burnt compared to pictures so maybe I got a one off bad batch but was not impressed at all.

The new recipe for the fish and chips is really not good. The spice blend might be good on fries, but it completely overpowers the flavor of the fish.
