I ordered two servings of Ayam Penyet "印尼炸鸡" Smashed Fried Chicken and a Passion Fruit Jasmine Tea , and everything exceeded my expectations. The owner was incredibly kind and showed me the sauces—I tried pickled chili, spicy shrimp paste, spicy ginger, and ginger scallion. The shrimp paste sauce was my favorite.
The chicken was perfectly crispy, juicy, and flavorful. The side salad, with pickled veggies and pineapple, was unique and delicious. The owner’s generosity stood out—he noticed I ordered two meals but only one drink and gave me a complimentary Thai tea, which was fantastic and not too sweet. Definitely made my day. My mom approved of the Passion Fruit Jasmine Tea .
Great food, amazing service—I’ll definitely be back!

Authentic Malaysian food that does not cut corners on quality. the Hainanese Chicken, roti, and egg noodle were all tasty! I also enjoyed the self service soup that isn't all salty with msg and is like a homemade soup. Self service sauce refills are appreciated too. The portion for the Hainanese Chicken was generous. Forget that other place that started out well with the same offerings then took it all away. Looking forward to trying a different dish each time.

I ordered the Hainan chicken and while the photos looked great it was bland and very undercooked. The sauces were not good either, it was basically soy sauce that they put in a to go container. I'm not sure how any of the reviews on here think the food is remotely good.
