• 25-04-21This is the best Tex-Mex in Gainesville! They have the best TAMALES DE POLLO we've ever had in our lives. So soft, fluffy and tender, we highly recommend. Anything with Steak is great - it is perfectly marinated and seasoned. You can literally take their nachos and create individual tostadas. Their chicken is also excellent.

• 25-09-20TAMALES DE POLLO nice and fluffy with tender chicken. Get their Green spicy sauce and mix it with a bit of sour cream to have with their tamales for an extra kick! Yummy!
Seafood Enchilada had shrimp and scallop. Tasty, but would have liked more sauce on top. Fixed that with the green spicy sauce and mix of sour cream.
KIDS STEAK QUESADILLA is awesome. The steak is the same as they use for their regular steak quesadilla and steak nachos.
We love their S/ PICO DE GALLO, but sometimes they are hit or miss on providing enough chips.
QUESO DIP is awesome! Fork into their S/ PICO DE GALLO to just get the tomatoes, onions, cilantro and put some in their QUESO DIP for some freshness.
I think we've tried every Mexican place in the area at this point. El Tio's is the BEST of them all. Thank you El Tio's for all the great meals!!!

• 24-05-18The seaf enchi were dry and fell apart, it was more like a couple of shrimps and crumbled tortillas.
I ordered beef tacos and they sent me chicken tacos. I called them to see if they would send me the correct order but they told me that they don't deliver and all they could do is give me a refund.
I think they should have someone checking the orders going out like Panera does.

• 23-11-01We ordered CHICKEN FAJITAS and when it came, the chicken and rice were cold , not to mention there was not enough of anything. There were NO tortilla shells included. There was a sauce container in the rice covering that area so you couldnt see at first that there was barely any. The "fajitas" had literally NO peppers and a scant amount of onions. There was celery and one random cherry tomato in there though.
Thankfully DoorDash refunded me some of the money because this meal was barely edible, let alone worth $47. I wont order from here again.

• 21-12-05Food is quality especially the tio sauce which is SPICY and the delivery is always correct. Love El Tio best Mexican in the area!
