Their meatballs are AMAZING every single time . Today I got the cavatelli marinara and added meatballs and it is very delicious. Chicken Milanese is also delicious , even as delivery!

Very small portions on polenta and roasted veggies (5 -6 sm pieces) not worth price paid. There were so few pieces on the roasted vegetables, that my daughter wondered if they resold someone's leftovers.

The side salad that came with the chicken parmigiana is basically the same size and the cranberry and Gorgonzola cheese (missing entirely) salad that I ordered as a meal. The other chicken parmigiana had penne and sauce as the side and it was cold upon arrival. The pizza looks like I defrosted it a digiorno pizza and it tastes just like the cardboard box it came in. The calamari was beyond rubbery that my daughter couldn't even chew it and had to spit it out before she choked. Sucks that I spent over $100 for a dinner that was hands down one of the worst meals I've ever had. Spent the entire night with stomach cramps too so that was lovely.

Have lived down the road from La Pastaria, I remember going there when they first opened in early 90's as a kid. Has always been a spot I bring friends to when visitng. In my totally un-biased opinion La Pasteria is the best all-around Italian Rest in Red Bank
